Today, I will discuss whether Acnotrent (Isotretinoin) is effective for acne and acne scars, and which aesthetic treatments are recommended after completing oral therapy.

 

1. How Effective is Acnotrent for Acne and Acne Scars?

Acnotrent (Isotretinoin) is an oral medication highly effective for treating moderate to severe acne, especially cases that are resistant to conventional treatments. Below, we break down its mechanism and effectiveness for acne and acne scars.

 

(1) Effectiveness for Active Acne

Isotretinoin drastically reduces sebum production, one of the main causes of acne.
